Episode One: A New Start

 

On a bright, sunny day above Miami, Otis begins to lose control of his spaceship as he approaches Earth. What seems like a rocky landing soon becomes a nightmare for Otis when he makes one last attempt to land his ship. In the mess of the crash, he realizes he has just killed a human, but not just any human. Otis has killed the first human he has ever encountered. Otis is then blinded by a ray of light and a ghost transcends from the body. It is the ghost of the human he has just killed. Otis is dumbfounded by what he is witnessing. The ghost, in shock, looks at himself as he lay lifeless on the ground. Otis apologizes for accidently killing him and makes an attempt to introduce himself and explain the situation. As the ghost comes to terms with everything, he introduces himself as Karl. Karl tells Otis that he will not be ready to cross over until his bucket list is completely crossed off. Otis explains to Karl that he wants to learn how to live as a human and is capable of mimicking the appearance of Karl. Otis makes a promise to Karl that he will help him complete his bucket list.

 

Episode Two: Walk and Talk Like Me

A few days after Otis’s arrival to Earth, Karl presents his bucket list to Otis. However, before Otis can even attempt to complete the list he must learn how to act like a human, as well as act like Karl. Karl begins with the basics of “human etiquette”. This covers manners, conversation skills and starters, as well as how to eat. After explaining this, Karl tells Otis that “teaching a friend a new way of life” is the first thing on his bucket list. Otis becomes very excited. Otis struggles with conversation starters as he is extremely awkward and not the most intelligent creature to talk to. With lots of patience Karl manages to teach Otis how to talk to a convenience store cashier.

The premise of the show follows a young woman and her dog who become stuck in the Land Of Claws. When the young woman exhibits the traits of split personalities, she seeks help from a Wizard who can perform an exorcism and send her back home. The show teaches the true meaning of friendship as well as how to connect with the Holy Spirit and performing an exorcism.

It was a dark and stormy night. The power had just gone out and the house began to smell like rotting fish and moldy cheese. Dianna’s dog, Pepper, had unfortunately used the rug as a bathroom since she could not go outside because of the storm. At the same time, Dianna starts to notice a change in her as she is slowly becoming possessed by the devil. The clock had stop working at 3 A.M. The ground began to shake as the tornado had lifted Dianna’s house of the ground.

Wizardly Adventures is about some friends who put their imaginations together to turn their backyards into another world where they perform exorcisms and sing songs. Along with learning problem solving skills, children are taught how to get connected to the Holy Spirit along with learning the fundamentals of performing an exorcism.

After watching Two and a Half Men, I believe the targeted demographic for the show would be anyone in their mid thirties to early fifties. During the first break, eleven commercials aired: Hello Magazine, Country Wide Homes, Burger King, Febreze, Walking On A Cloud Shoes, Flu Shot, IKEA, Catelli pasta, Americas Funniest Videos, Next Issue App and The Biggest Loser.

 

On this episode of Two and a Half Men, Charlie’s girlfriend’s ex mother-in-law passes away. Chelsea, the girlfriend, has to leave for the weekend to attend the funeral. The first turning point is when Charlie finds out Chelsea is staying with her ex-husband. Charlie becomes jealous but tries to hide it from Chelsea before she leaves. The second turning point is when a girl shows up drunk at Charlie’s front door after Chelsea leaves. Charlie immediately resorts back to his old ways and allows her in his home, opting to spend the night with her. Allen, Charlie’s brother, sees what is going on and tells Charlie that what he is doing is wrong. Lastly, the third turning point is when Charlie has an epiphany in which he realizes what he is doing is wrong. Charlie abandons his efforts with the drunk girl but she passes out in his bedroom. Soon after, Charlie receives a phone call from Chelsea saying she is on her way home, and that her ex-husband tried to make a move on her. Charlie and Allen both have to figure a way to get the random girl out of the house before Chelsea gets home. The hero in this episode is Allen; despite his brothers poor judgement he still helps him clean up his mess. The theme of the episode is jealousy, and this episode focused on Charlie’s story.

The pilot episode

It is a regular Monday morning in Alabama for Dianna and her little dog Pepper. After coming home from walking Pepper, Dianna starts to notice that a storm coming. Dianna’s house begins to shake. She realizes she needs to get out, but before she is able to make it to the door, her house lifts off the ground. She is now found trapped in a tornado. She then loses consciousness. When she awoke, upon revival she notices a bump on her head and becomes aware she is not in Alabama anymore.

LOGLINES:

The ‘Exorcist”  is about a middle aged priest whom begins to question his faith in God when his mother becomes terminally ill and passes away. While grieving over his mother’s death a young women starts to notice changes in her daughters behaviour as well as her looks in a demonic way. After countless appointments with doctors and psychiatrist the young mother is left with no choice but to seek help for a exorcism.

The “Wizard Of OZ” is about a young women Named Dorothy and her Dog who becomes trapped in a Tornado which spontaneously takes them to the land of OZ. In the land of Oz Dorothy makes three friends that take her on a journey to meet the Wizard Of Oz, in order to grant her wish to go back home.

During a unusual storm Dianna and her Little dog Pepper get caught in a tornado in which they end up in another world, the Land Of Claws. While in the Land Of Claws, Dianna begins to experience traits of split personalities of a crow, Tiger and Metal man. Dianna soon realizes that she is being possessed by a demon and seeks help from a Wizard who can perform a exorcism and take her back home. In order to get to the wizard she must go on a journey. Dianna encounters many trials and tribulations as she tries to find the wizard while fighting her inner demons.

My Review Of Toy Story (1995)

Toy Story is about a group of toys that come to life when their owner Andy is not around. Andy’s favourite toy is Woody, Woody is a cow boy. On Andy’s birthday he receives another toy named Buzz Light-year, Buzz is a space ranger. Shortly after Andy receiving Buzz he slowly loses interest in Woody, which fills Woody with Jealously. This results with a fight between Woody and Buzz, during the fight Buzz accidently falls out the window. The other toys begin to blame Woody for killing Buzz, which makes Woody feel guilty for this and wants to make it right so he sets forth in  search and rescue for Buzz. Little does Woody and Buzz know that Andy and his family will be moving. The two of them encounter a bunch of trials and tribulations as they try and make it back to Andy before he moves. Toy story is a comedy as well as an adventure movie; it leaves you intrigued about the safe return of Buzz and Woody. I really enjoyed watching this movie growing up as a child, it was a very wholesome movie that the whole family can watch and enjoy together. If you have not seen Toy Story I highly recommend you do.
